Everyone knows and loves to watch the classic Halloween horror movies, such as Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, and of course Halloween. However, instead of giving Jason, Freddy and Michael another whirl, how about trying out these lesser known movies that are sure to actually provide some scares along with the entertainment.
The Conjuring, 2013. Imagine being excited to move into a big new house, only to be greeted by angry supernatural demons of some sort. Well, that’s what happened to the Perrons in 1977, and the it truly makes for some creepy entertainment. 
Don’t Listen 2020 Once again, everything is cool and exciting at a new house ….until there’s strange demon voices and unexpected death. This Spanish movie is sure to leave you feeling anxious and probably rethinking any future moves to a new house. 
Incantation 2022, This terrifying, Blair Witch style horror movie, was supposedly inspired by a real-life incident in Kaohsiung in 2005, in which a Taiwanese family named Wu claimed to be possessed by demons, and eventually killed their oldest daughter. 
Annabelle Creation 2017 A creepy addition to the Conjuring universe, this story involves a demonic doll that would put Chucky to shame. Twelve years after the tragic death of their daughter, a doll-maker and his wife house a nun and several girls from a closed orphanage, where they eventually become the target of the doll-maker’s demon fueled creation, Annabelle. 
2014, Another quality “found footage” style film, this time located in Paris; tomb raider types looking for gold are instead “greeted” by a hellish underworld of death and terror.
