Zeek and Santos Rank The Top Players in the NBA

Serrano’s List

  1. Nikola Jokic

Nikola Jokic has solidified himself at the top spot. He arguably should have won another MVP, and then steamrolled the competition en route to the NBA title and Finals MVP.

  1. Giannis Antetokoumpo

Giannis is an amazing offensive player and has the best defensive presence .  He’s led his team to a ring before, and has been proven to be at the top of the league currently.

  1. Steph Curry

He’s the second best offensive player, behind Jokic. He IS the warriors offense, and he’s the reason their offense works.

  1. Joel  Embiid

One of the best regular season players, currently the reigning mvp. He has an impact on both sides of the court. That said, he needs to make a deep run in the playoffs however to be considered for a higher spot.

  1. Luka Doncic

He’s been the only good thing in Dallas since Dirk Nowitizki, and he proves to keep being better than Trae Young , the guy they traded for him on draft night. Luka knows how to find his wide open teammates, and get them the ball no matter where they are on the court.

  1. Jayson Tatum

Just outside the top five, Jayson has proved he can be the leader of a team to make the finals. With time, he might be in the top 5 without a doubt, but for now, he’s just out at 6.

  1. Devin Booker

He’s proved to be a top scorer in the league, and has his own clutch moments. Even though he is dismissed by many due to his tactics of trash talk, he is still in the top 10.

  1. Lebron James

Fighting father time, Lebron has been around for over 2 decades and is STILL top ten. His impact with his playmaking and scoring is still obvious, and defensively he nis relied on the other teams’  top scorer.

  1. Kevin Durant

Unguardable, 7 feet tall scorer with moves of a guard.

  1. Damian Lillard

Alone in Portland, he was fighting the MVP for the scoring title. He almost won it, but his scoring seems to be getting better despite him being older. If he does get traded to the heat, he might get his ring he wanted.

Baez’s List

  1. Nikola Jokic

This was kind of obvious, took his team to a championship, won Finals MVP, it’s kind of crazy how he wasn’t even drafted and he’s one of the best scorers and passers in the league.

  1. Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Greek Freak, can go baseline to baseline in like 5 steps. Literal monster, amazing leader, insanely strong, he’s already one of the faces of the league, and he will be for the years to come, future Top 10 player ever, no doubt.

  1. Steph Curry

Revolutionized the game, literally. Curry is one of the craftiest PG’s in the game, is insanely clutch, can adapt to any sort of role, can shoot the long ball from half court consistently, and can lead a team. Curry is one of the best players ever, like I have him in my top 10. He would be amazing, but like almost half the people here, age is catching up to them, and Curry is 35, but right now, he is definitely 3 no question

  1. Luka Doncic

The future of the league in my opinion.  Luka is 24, averaging 32 points per game, can distribute the ball, has the mindset of a winner, can close out games, is clutch and best of all, a clear leader.

  1. Joel Embiid

I really don’t want to even put him here, but I have to because he won MVP (even though it should have been Jokic), Joel is definitely top 10 though, averaging 30 and taking the 76ers to the playoffs, but one thing about him though that ranks him here, he’s a choker. Every time in deep situations he doesnt pull through. To be “the guy”, he heeds to get over that hump and bring a title to Philly.

  1. Jayson Tatum

JT is just like KD, in that he can give you a bucket anywhere on the floor, and better yet, he is younger, averages more points, assists, and rebounds than him, and is actually a leader. But while he is a leader, he needs to get better in the big moments and games.

  1. Jimmy Butler

Took an 8th Seed to the finals—enough said.

  1. Kevin Durant

Slim Reaper, absolute bucket getter even at the age of 34, KD is crafty, and as I said earlier, can get you a bucket literally anywhere on the court.. That said, while he is an amazing scorer, he’s not a leader. Every time he leads a team he always ends up falling short. We saw it in Brooklyn when we all thought they were going to the finals with Kyrie and Harden, we saw it in OKC when he had a dynamic duo in Russ, and I think we will see it again sadly on the Suns where they will fall short

  1. Devin Booker

One of the best SG’s in the game right now, Devin Booker is one of the corner pieces for the Suns future, and is showing a bright future going into Season 9 averaging 27. That said I think he needs to work on his killer instinct and build a stronger will to win. sort of mind, to win no matter the cost, and sadly, he just doesn’t have it, but I can see him go rank up later on in his career

  1. LeBron James

The GOAT to basketball for some people (Jordan is better), LeBron James at the ripe age of 38, is still averaging over 25 a game, still carrying his team far to the playoffs, and still exceeding everyone’s expectations. However, he is getting older, he’s starting to slow down and start getting injured more, and working too catching up to these other guys. LeBron is still one of the type guys no doubt, but sadly, he’s not the monster he once was.
