Three Restaurants to try on the East Side

El Charro San Francisco– If you ever crave Mexican food, this should be your go to spot. Their tacos are amazing, and all the food tastes authentic. They serve all Mexican dishes, from flautas to enchiladas, to delicious mole. To refresh yourself while you eat, you can get a fresh limonada, Jamaica, or horchata.  For dessert, they have a pretty tasty flan, which no one can refuse.

Mar and Sushi– All seafood lovers can come and enjoy this spot, as it serves sushi and langostino styled shrimp. They serve all seafood type dishes, all tasting fresh and flavorful. They have aguas frescas which are all refreshing, my favorite being cucumber. Also, all the food is presented in a beautiful manner, it truly feels like the chef took his time with your food.

Birrieria Don Luis–  The main dish being birria here makes it one of the best dishes you can get here.  They make what they call “queso taco”, which is birria with cheese in a tortilla. Trust me, you want to try this. Along with the amazing birria they serve, they also serve other traditional Mexican dishes like  tacos, burritos, tortas, and meats like asada, or steak.
