The woman who I admire most in the world is my mom. My mother is a hardworking woman who has always raised me and my siblings to become independent, to prepare ourselves to be adults. She has continually encouraged us to “find ourselves”.
She wants me to have the opportunities that she didn’t have growing up, hence why she works so hard for our family.

My mom is always there for me when I am down. She has lost her own mother-my grandmother, and despite how hard it was and is for her, she always has shown up for me and our family.
My focus moving forward is making her hard work pay off. I’m going to make her proud by going to college and becoming who I want to and who she knows I can be. I am determined to be the first kid out of all of my siblings to go to college, and eventually to go on to the successful career I want. Then, I will repay my mother for all that she has given and sacrificed for me throughout my life.
All I can say is that my mom isn’t just someone I admire, or a leader or a provider, she is my hero. I love you mom and thank you for everything you do.
