Imagine yourself on Christmas night sitting by a fire place, after a day full of gifts, love and an amazing dinner. But now, you are craving something sweet to end the perfect Christmas with.
Will you go with simple Christmas cookies? Ice cream.
NO.
How about making LaMarc’s Christmas Pumpkin Pie? (Trademark pending).
Well, let’s start with what you’re going to need:
- ¾ cup of sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 15 oz can of pumpkin
- ¼ cups of evaporated milk (or you could use half and half)
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 crust package from Pillsbury.
Once you have all of those the first thing you need to do is preheat the oven to 425. Now in a large bowl put in the sugar, salt, pie spice, pumpkin, evaporated milk and eggs, and whisk them together and pour it into the pie crust.
After you do that you can put it into the oven and bake for 15 minutes and then reduce the heat to 350 and bake for 45 minutes or as long as needed. Check the pie by sticking a knife in there. Then place on a cooling rack for 2 hours, and then lastly and most importantly, enjoy it with those you love on Christmas night.
