Love Halloween but wanna do more than simply rewatch the same “scary” movies for the 47th time? Well “fear not”, and check out these fun Halloween attractions around Chicago.
The 13th Floor has officially risen from it’s grave for it’s terrifying 8th season in the Chicagoland area. Wondering what this nice looking clown’s deal is? Well according to their website: “After a failed carnival went bankrupt, the sideshow performers were shunned by society and took to the sewers for shelter. After years of no interaction with the outside world, the performers have become rabid and feed on anything that wanders into their domain.” Located at 5050 River Rd, Schiller Park, IL, 60176. It’s rated as one of the top 5 haunted houses in America by USA Today. 
Supposedly one of the most haunted places in Chicago with real supernatural activity in the halls and certain rooms, the Congress Plaza Hotel is located on Michigan Avenue in the middle of Chicago’s Loop neighborhood. The hotel opened in 1893 and over the decades, it’s gone under so many transformations and seen many guests, it’s said some of those guests never checked out. They also have an annual “Halloween Ball” on October 29th, where you can dress up and party with friends and/or any ghosts that may wanna join. Ok, if you must watch some horror movies this Halloween, at least do so here. The Music Box of Horrors is a 24-hour movie marathon event at the Grand Music Box Theater in Chicago. At this particular theater, you can watch the best and rarest horror flicks. The building was built in 1929 and it has custom sound system features, and 3D displays to make your blood curdle with thrill. The Music Box of Horrors is located at 3733 North Southport Avenue, Chicago Illinois, 60613. 
Iconic Chicago attraction Navy Pier goes all out for Halloween. Pier Pumpkin lights will transform the piers outdoor areas into a glowing fall spectacle! Navy Pier is located at 600 E Grand Avenue, Chicago Illinois, 60611.
