They say life is short, but the world is wide, meaning while there’s an endless amount of places to visit and explore in the world, there’s unfortunately a limited amount of time to do so. That said, here’s 10 places all people should work towards visiting sooner rather than later!

Paris, France. From the many tourist attractions to the great kinds of food, Paris contains the finest places to visit for a trip or vacation such as the Eiffel Tower which is around 1000 ft tall and also has stairs allowing you to climb to the top of it. There is an astounding amount of areas to visit in Paris with amazing historical points of interest and many kinds of foods such as Gelato, macarons, and more. 
Christ the Redeemer Statue, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This enormous statue based on Jesus Christ himself is one of the best places to visit while in Brazil attracting around 1-2 million visitors a year. It may be a hassle getting to the top to reach the statue, but in the end it’s worth it to see such a beautiful view. 
Navy Pier, Chicago, IL Closer to home, and free to visit and explore, Navy Pier is a massive Chicago and midwestern attraction, offering amazing views, food, entertainment, boat rides, and of course a giant ferris wheel! 
Niagara Falls–New York state, and Ontario, Canada. Niagara Falls consists of two waterfalls on the Niagara River, which marks the border between New York and Ontario, Canada:is a gorgeous waterfall and a great idea to check out when looking for a beautiful and memorable place to visit. This twelve thousand year old waterfall brings people in the millions every year. 
Times Square, NY, New York. Times Square is a world famous plaza within New York City. Built in 1905, it features many restaurants with amazing varieties of food, tons of shops, endless supplies of interesting people, and many other sights and sounds to keep you entertained for hours. For a particularly memorable time, visit for its’ yearly New Year’s Eve celebration! 
Disney World, Orlando, Florida Disney World was founded in 1971 after Walt Disney himself had wanted to create another, larger, theme park based on something just like Disneyland. With 173 rides and countless attractions and shows, Disney World will keep you and your family having fun for days. 
Great Wall of China, northern China. This thirteen thousand mile wall is entrenched with history, with initial sections first being built during the 7th century BC. The wall was originally created for the sole purpose of fortification and keeping any invaders away. Later on, many successive dynasties built and maintained multiple stretches of border walls. The best-known sections of the wall were built by the Ming dynasty, between 1368 and 1644. 
Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona. This thirteen thousand mile wall is entrenched with history, and was originally created for the sole purpose of fortification and keeping any invaders away. 
The Colosseum, Rome, Italy. Visiting the Colosseum is like jumping in a time machine, as it’s one of the largest and best known symbols of the Roman Empire. The Colosseum is the largest stadium built during that period, and was opened in 80 AD, featuring gladiator fights, executions and animal hunts. 
The largest of the Nazi concentration camps, Auschwitz is where over a million Jewish people were murdered. While this may not seem like an ideal or fun place to visit, it is nevertheless an undeniably powerful and humbling reminder of what human beings are capable of—both in terms of evil, as well as strength and perseverance. Simply put, a visit to Auschwitz will leave you a better and more compassionate person as a result.
