What made you come to St. Francis?

The basketball opportunity….the chance to lead my own program at a school like SFDS. 

After the first week, what are your thoughts on the school?

I like the school.. I like it a lot. All the teachers are nice, the kids are out here working.. I like it.

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in the Chicago Heights area, south Chicago Heights.

When did you start coaching basketball?

I first started coaching in 2012, at Kankakee High School.

What are your future plans for SFDS basketball?

Keep working, try to get better everyday—even if it’s only one percent better. We’re gonna be pretty good this year.

Are you excited to coach the team?

Absolutely man, absolutely, we have a good season ahead of us man, as long as we have a crowd there to support us.

What should be expectations for the team this coming year?

I got pretty high expectations for those guys, we had some solid juniors transfer in, solid players and young men. So I’m setting the bar and expectations very high.
