What made you want to come to St. Francis?

After working in Hammond, I just wanted to come back home to Chicago. Plus I had heard great things about St. Francis, so this was the perfect opportunity.

What are some of your hobbies?

I like to hangout with my daughter creating art, singing and I also do art commissions as a professional artist.

What made you want to be an art teacher?

I originally started with nursing school but have always had a passion for art, and teaching gives me an opportunity to express and hopefully spread that passion.

What’s your favorite food?

Red hot ranch Burgers and Pozole!

How many tattoos do you have?

3 I hope to have my sleeve finished by the end of the year.

Jean Michel-Basquiat and Frida Khalo

Favorite band?

Rolling Stones 

Favorite song by them?

There’s so many to choose from, but right now “Happy”.
